Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb invites PhD candidates to join a 10-week Summer Intern program in Drug Product Development in New Brunswick, NJ. Interns work on guided research projects applying predictive modeling, data science, and AI/ML to drug product development.

You'll design computational models, apply ML/AI to large datasets, and develop predictive models for unit operations in oral solid and parenteral forms, collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting results at internal forums.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university program pursuing a PhD in engineering, materials science, computational sciences, or a related quantitative discipline. Must still be enrolled during Summer 2027.
• Expected to graduate between Fall 2027 and 2028.
• GPA of 3.0 or greater must be included on resume, with a two-page research summary.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement computational models for predictive insights in drug product development.
• Apply machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to large datasets to drive insights and mitigate risks.
• Develop predictive models for unit operations in oral solid and parenteral dosage forms, including drug delivery devices.
• Collaborate with formulation, process development, and device engineering teams; present results to a diverse audience at internal forums.
