Job summary

Google Inc. invites PhD students to join a 12-14 week paid Software Engineering Internship across North America, including Software Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering. You will work on a specific project, design, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions while developing professionally.

Eligible candidates are pursuing a PhD in CS, have experience with C/C++/Java/Python, and are located in the US for the internship. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience coding in C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Currently pursuing a degree program in the US and available to work full time for 12 weeks outside of university term time.
• In penultimate year or returning to a degree program after completion of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs and contribute to software development.
