Job summary

Google Research offers a full-time, 12-14 week paid PhD internship in the United States. Interns collaborate with engineers on AI, machine learning, NLP, data mining, and system research projects, ranging from experiments to prototype implementations.

Applicants must be enrolled in a PhD program in CS or a related field, ideally in their penultimate year or returning to study. English proficiency is required to participate and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Join a full-time, 12-14 week paid internship across Google research teams.
• Work with engineers to discover, prototype, and design architectures for AI, ML, NLP, and data-centric challenges.
• Contribute to research that can influence Google products and publish findings where appropriate.

This internship is intended for students in their penultimate academic year, pursuing a PhD degree program in Computer Science or a related field. • Penultimate academic year or returning to a degree program after completion of the internship.
• Experience as a researcher, including internships, full-time, or at a lab.
  
• Experience contributing research communities or efforts, including publishing papers in major conferences or journals.
