Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in a Ph.D. program

  • Experience with robot simulation and sim-to-real transfer using platforms such as Isaac Lab, MuJoCo or Genesis
  • Strong programming skills in Python or C++
  • Demonstrated research potential and publications in leading robotics, computer vision, or machine learning venues

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research in robotic disassembly and learning-based methods for dexterous manipulation.
  • Collaborate with MERL researchers to develop algorithms and run experiments on robotic platforms.
  • Publish research findings at top-tier robotics and AI conferences.
  • Support sim-to-real deployment and benchmarking on robotic platforms.
