Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation's Architecture Research Group is seeking an intern to explore future GPU and data-center computing. You will work across architecture modeling, simulators, and prototypes to test new concepts and communicate findings to multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing PhD in CS/CE/EE/Physics/Math.
• Industrial and university experience in hardware/software/algorithm development.
• Strong C/C++ programming and scripting language skills.
• Experience as a CUDA programmer.
• Background building computer system simulators.
• Experience building low-level software tools (runtime systems, compilers).
• Strong background in computer architecture and parallel architectures.

Responsibilities

• Investigate new architecture concepts for GPUs, memory systems, accelerators, and data-center platforms.
• Study workloads to identify bottlenecks and opportunities.
• Explore hardware-software co-design across architecture, compilers, runtimes, models, and apps.
• Develop models, simulators, prototypes, and experimental tools.
• Research memory hierarchy, coherence, consistency, data movement, and programmability.
• Collaborate with NVIDIA researchers, GPU architects, software teams, and product groups.
• Communicate findings via presentations, reports, and publications.
• Help transfer research ideas into NVIDIA product teams.
