Job summary

NVIDIA's HPX team is seeking a Ph.D. candidate for an internship to advance cross-disciplinary research at the intersection of vision and human behavior. You’ll work with researchers and product engineers to ground research in real-world challenges and contribute to publications.

You will decompose questions, iterate on solutions, and help disseminate findings through conferences and internal channels. The role emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and impact in AI-powered human interaction.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Ph.D. or equivalent with a track record of research and publications.
• Deep interest in gaming and/or human behavior in related domains.
• Training in Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, CS/Engineering, EE, or related fields.
• Proficiency with Python, Rust, and/or C++.
• Experience with AI model training and evaluation frameworks like PyTorch.

Responsibilities

• Decompose research questions into smaller parts and tackle them iteratively.
• Identify gaps and bridge them with high-impact solutions.
• Collaborate with researchers and product engineers to ground research in real-world problems.
• Lead knowledge dissemination with options for conference, journal, or in-house publication.
