Qualifications

Working towards a PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
Experience with polymer property characterization techniques.
Strong scientific communication skills—written and verbal.
Ability to independently scope and complete a 12-week research project.
Available to work a 12-week internship May/early June to August 2027 in South Boston, MA.

Responsibilities

Lead efforts in determining relationships between material properties and product performance.
Design and execute prototyping and characterization experiments to vary polymeric parameters.
Perform synthesis, characterization, and structure/property modeling for polymer blade coatings.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate information from internal and external sources.
