A leading healthcare institution seeks a Program Leader for the Pavilion and Lincoln programs, focusing on treatment-resistant psychiatric illnesses. The role involves overseeing clinical operations, managing diverse staff, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and managerial skills, experience with diverse populations, and proficiency in various clinical applications.
The Pavilion at McLean Hospital is the premiere residential program in the country providing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for adults with complex, treatment-resistant psychiatric illnesses. Lincoln is a small residential program, located off the main campus of the hospital, for patients with treatment-resistant depression. While Lincoln primarily serves as a step-down program for the Pavilion, patients can be directly admitted from the community or after a brief inpatient hospitalization. Lincoln is unique in offering accelerated TMS in addition to behavioral treatments. The Program Leader for the Pavilion / Lincoln will oversee all clinical and administrative operations of both programs, ensuring activities support their clinical missions.
The ideal candidate will have extensive clinical experience, strong management skills for a diverse staff including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and nurses, and strategic thinking regarding the programs' roles within McLean Hospital and the larger MGB system. The candidate must also demonstrate the ability to manage a combined expense budget exceeding 12 million dollars.
The successful candidate will possess strong clinical and managerial skills, experience with diverse populations, and familiarity with current scientific advances. They must be capable of analyzing behaviors, assessing situations, and communicating effectively with staff, clients, hospital leadership, and external agencies. Knowledge of MA DMH regulations is preferred.
Additional requirements include managing daily operations, overseeing budgets, and proficiency with clinical and business applications such as Epic, PeopleSoft, UKG, Kronos, Workday, Taleo, Hyperion, Vision, HealthStream, and Business Objects Planning. Experience with virtual care platforms and completion of electronic medical records training are also required.
