Health Advances in Newton, MA is seeking Senior Analysts to apply PhD-trained expertise to develop business strategies and healthcare insights for clients. You will synthesize research, conduct technical assessments, and build quantitative models to support decision-making, collaborating with teams to deliver client-ready recommendations.

Qualifications

• PhD in the life sciences.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and organizational levels.
• A sincere interest in learning about the business of healthcare in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• A desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and team-oriented environment.
• An ability to prioritize and focus time effectively to meet multiple client-driven objectives.
• Must live in the Boston area and work in the Newton office ~3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Synthesizing research findings into persuasive actionable insights that allow clients to achieve their business objectives
• Conducting technical, clinical, and market assessments to evaluate opportunities, risks, and competitive dynamics across healthcare markets.
• Performing in-depth qualitative and quantitative research with researchers, clinicians, patients/consumers, and industry experts
• Executing quantitative analyses including learning to build forecasts and financial models to support clients’ decision-making
• Collaborating with team leaders to select appropriate analytical approaches
• Developing and presenting analyses and recommendations to client teams and senior leadership.
