Dow Inc. invites PhD students to join a digital internship spanning R&D, ISC, M&E, IS, and EHS&S. You will work on data science and analytics projects aligned with Dow’s industrial research and manufacturing goals.

The role emphasizes solving open-ended problems with cross-disciplinary teams, accelerating digital tools, and delivering impactful results across product and process areas.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Ph.D. degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Tackle diverse, open-ended problems to accelerate digital evolution of Dow as a materials leader.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance product, process, and software initiatives.
• Help predict formulation properties and optimize manufacturing processes using data science and analytics.
• Contribute to safety, sustainability, and supply chain optimization through research.
