Job summary

Dow Inc. invites PhD students to a digital internship across North America, aligned to one of Dow’s core functions (R&D, ISC, M&E, IS, or EHS&S).

You will tackle open-ended problems using data science, engineering, and materials knowledge, partnering with domain experts to accelerate digital evolution. Applicants must be enrolled in a PhD program in relevant fields with a minimum GPA of 3.0; hybrid or remote arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a PhD degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• Minimum GPA of 3.00 in current graduate school.

Responsibilities

• Solve diverse, open-ended problems applying data science and engineering methods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate digital evolution of Dow's platforms.
• Contribute to project goals such as predictive formulation properties, process improvements, and software modernization.
