Job summary

Dow Inc. invites PhD scientists and engineers to join a digital internship across North America, including hybrid or remote arrangements. You will work on R&D, ISC, M&E, IS, or EHS&S teams to accelerate the digital evolution of a global materials leader.

As a digital intern, you will tackle open-ended problems, collaborate with domain experts, and apply data science, analytics, and engineering concepts to improve formulations, processes, and software platforms.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Ph.D. degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• Preferred GPA of 3.00 (on a scale of 4.000).
• Must be eligible to comply with U.S. export control laws.

Responsibilities

• Solve diverse, open-ended problems with data-driven approaches in a fast-paced setting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Dow teams to accelerate digital initiatives.
