Job summary

The Home Depot offers a Summer Internship for PhD data science candidates, based in our Atlanta Corporate Office (Store Support Center). The 11-week program runs May 17–July 30, 2027, with a project aligned to e-Commerce, Merchandising, Operations or Finance and mentorship from senior leaders.

You will conduct data analytics, build actionable insights using SQL, Python and Tableau, and participate in networking and development activities to accelerate your career in retail analytics.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a PhD in a quantitative field (Analytics, Finance, IS).
• Excellent academic performance.
• Experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Participate in enterprise data science meetings and cross-functional teams.
• Communicate findings and project status through presentations.
• Apply data analytics to business problems using SQL, Python, and BI tools.
