Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a PhD program with an expected graduation date after the internship ends.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis for the duration of the internship.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment at an Intuit office location, relocation stipend provided.
• Experience in one area of AI (e.g., NLP, LLMs, RL, etc.).
• Established publication record, ideally first‑author papers at top AI conferences.
• Experience developing and debugging in Python with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
• Experience disseminating scientific work in English through papers and talks.

Responsibilities

• Design and run experiments to explore open research questions in AI.
• Develop and prototype models or methods and evaluate them against baselines.
• Read and synthesize AI research to inform your approach.
• Collaborate with researchers, data scientists, and engineers to connect research to product impact.
• Document methodology, findings, and code clearly and present to diverse audiences.
• Contribute to publication‑quality write‑ups of your research.
