Job summary

You will design experiments, prototype models, and read current AI literature to inform your approach, collaborating with scientists and engineers to create real product impact. You must be enrolled in a PhD program, legally authorized to work in the US, and able to work in a hybrid office setting with a relocation stipend.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a PhD program with expected graduation after internship.
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time during internship.
• Hybrid Intuit office work environment with relocation stipend.
• Experience in one area of AI (NLP, LLMs, RL, etc.).
• Publication record, ideally first-author at top AI conferences.
• Experience developing and debugging in Python with TensorFlow/PyTorch.
• Experience disseminating scientific work in English through papers/talks.

Responsibilities

• Design and run experiments to explore open AI questions.
• Develop and prototype models; evaluate against baselines.
• Read and synthesize AI literature to guide approach.
• Collaborate with researchers, data scientists, and engineers to apply findings.
• Document methodology, results, and code; present to diverse audiences.
• Contribute to publication-ready write-ups when applicable.
