Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Elmsford, NY seeks a Psychologist to provide evaluation, assessment, testing, and long-term treatment of psychiatric patients across emergency, inpatient, consultation, and ambulatory services.

The role requires a PhD in Clinical Psychology or equivalent, a Masters, and extensive leadership in clinical programs with grant management experience. Compliance with relevant regulatory standards will be essential.

Qualifications

• PhD in Clinical Psychology or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Required Masters.
• Preferred 10+ years 8 Years - Must be familiar with evidence-based assessment and treatment methods.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in clinical psychology.
• Experience serving as an Attending Psychologist in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
• Extensive knowledge of evidence-based psychological assessment, treatment, and clinical care practices.
• Demonstrated expertise in the oversight, development, and management of specialized clinical programs, including more than 10 years of leadership.
• Thorough understanding of regulatory, ethical, and professional standards governing psychological services and clinical operations.
• Proven ability to provide clinical leadership, consultation, program direction, and mentorship to multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated experience leading, administering, and overseeing city, state, and federally funded behavioral health, healthcare, or human services programs.
• Advanced knowledge of grant management principles, including compliance, reporting, performance metrics, program evaluation, and fiscal accountability requirements.
• Experience ensuring adherence to funding agency regulations, contractual obligations, audit requirements, and applicable local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Proven ability to collaborate with governmental agencies, funding entities, and community stakeholders to support program implementation, sustainability, and strategic growth.
• Experience developing, monitoring, and reporting on grant-funded program outcomes and key performance indicators.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across locations including ER, inpatient unit, consultation, and ambulatory settings.
• Ensure documentation complies with Office of Mental Health, OASAS and Joint Commission guidelines.
• Lead, administer, and oversee grant-funded behavioral health programs and outcomes.
