Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company in Pineville, NC is seeking a Plant Healthcare Technician to join our outdoor landscape team. The role focuses on plant health care services, diagnosis, and treatment of trees, shrubs, and lawns in a commercial or residential setting.

You will work outdoors, travel up to 25%, and use company-provided gear and safety equipment. We offer ongoing training, career development, a comprehensive benefits package including health, 401(k) with match, and employee ownership

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Preferred: Background in Horticulture or Landscaping.
• Preferred: Turf, Weed, Tree and shrub ID knowledge.
• Ability to complete Davey landscape career development books upon hire.
• Ability to complete Davey First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses/certificates, if required by state law.
