Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond is seeking an antenna engineer for the Starlink Mobile program to design, verify, and validate phased array antennas for satellite‑to‑mobile connectivity, influencing the constellation and network through cross‑functional collaboration.

You will design advanced antenna and feed systems, fabricate prototypes, test RF front ends, contribute to digital beamforming software, and support integration into spacecraft from concept to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; RF/antenna research or development experience encouraged.
• Preferred advanced degree with RF/antenna thesis or research exposure.
• Experience with RF concepts like impedance matching and microwave networks is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design of advanced antenna and feed systems for next‑gen phased arrays.
• Fabricate and characterize prototypes of antennas, feeds, and RF front ends.
• Contribute to software/testing of digital beamforming systems for full array functionality.
• Provide phased array expertise to set specs and debug satellite and ground test products.
• Validate prototype and production designs and assist integration into spacecraft.
