Job summary

Barrington James is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to join a busy early-phase pharmacology unit in Miami. This hands-on role spans the full study lifecycle from startup to closeout, coordinating Phase I and healthy volunteer studies.

You will screen and enroll subjects, perform clinical procedures, manage EDC data, report adverse events, and liaise with investigators, sponsors and CROs. On-site, fast-paced environment suitable for proactive, detail-oriented professionals.

Qualifications

• Hands-on clinical research coordination experience in Phase I / healthy volunteer studies.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Experience with protocols and informed consent.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.

This is a hands-on role coordinating Phase I and early-phase studies from startup through closeout, ideal for someone who wants ownership over the full study lifecycle, not just paperwork.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate clinical trials from protocol review through study closeout
• Screen and enroll subjects, obtain informed consent, and manage study visits
• Perform clinical procedures (vitals, ECGs, phlebotomy) and support PK sampling
• Manage EDC data entry, source documentation, and query resolution
• Track and report adverse events per protocol requirements
• Liaise directly with Principal Investigators, sponsors, and CROs
• Support monitoring visits and manage investigational product per protocol

Requirements

• Hands-on clinical research coordination experience in Phase I / healthy volunteer studies
• Strong Communication skills in Spanish and English
• Confident working with protocols, informed consent, and EDC systems
• Detail-oriented, comfortable operating independently
• Must be based in or willing to work on-site full-time in Miami, FL
