Job summary

Johnson & Johnson’s Innovative Medicine arm seeks a PharmD Fellow, Safety Analysis Scientist, to join the Global Safety Strategy & Risk Management program in Horsham, PA. The role focuses on preparing scientific safety analyses and evaluations for regulatory steps and safety-related decisions for products in development and on the market.

You will collaborate with the Medical Safety Officer and other safety partners, link discussions to content, and deliver quality results under mentorship.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. graduates must have completed ACPE-accredited program or will have received degree prior to start.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze complex medical-scientific data from diverse sources.
• Ability to interpret and present data to determine benefit-risk impact.
• Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders in a matrix environment and demonstrate leadership.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Support safety evaluations including strategy discussions with MSO and other stakeholders, data retrieval, analysis, and report drafting.
• Ensure high quality safety evaluations and reports with moderate stakeholder input and revisions.
• Assist in novel projects to add value through task-based activities.
• Support SMT activities: data prep, meeting minutes, tracking signals.
• Contribute to Health Authority interactions regarding safety and risk management.
• Deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders in lectures or continuing education.
• Participate in rotations across safety areas to broaden exposure.
• Assist in developing and promoting the GSSRM Fellowship program.
• Assist in precepting APPE pharmacy students.
