CVS Health is hiring a Packing & Shipping Technician for the Wilkes-Barre, PA area. This full-time role supports the packing and shipping of prescription orders in a closed-door pharmacy environment, with a clear path to advancement based on performance and skill development.
The position requires a Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license, reliable attendance, and ability to work overtime. Starting pay is $17 per hour, with a $1 shift differential for this 2nd shift.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current, unrestricted Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee license on the first day of employment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work required overtime as business needs demand
Responsibilities
- Pack and ship prescription orders according to established procedures.
- Verify accuracy and quality of prescription packages.
- Operate automated packing and shipping equipment.
- Support prescription fulfillment and distribution processes.
- Assist with loading and maintaining automated dispensing systems.
- Perform packaging, validation, and delivery-related functions.
- Follow all pharmacy, safety, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with Pharmacy Supervisors, Lead Technicians, and team members to meet operational goals
