Job summary

San Joaquin Valley College invites applications for a Pharmacy Technician instructor to deliver course material, assess student learning, and ensure adherence to the program curriculum and accreditation standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Pharmacy Technology Certificate of Achievement, state licensure (CPhT or EXCPT), and at least two years of PhT experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office and college systems is expected. Experience with student advisement and mentoring is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technology Certificate of Achievement.
• State licensure as CPhT or EXCPT.
• Two years PhT experience in a pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Delivers course material in accordance with the college curriculum.
• Fulfills administrative requirements for each course, including attendance, SLO assessment data, posting grades in a timely manner, and outreach to students.
• Utilizes student achievement and learning outcome data to develop program improvement strategies and participates in formal processes of program improvement, such as program review, program assessment, program design, and program evaluation.
• Maintains high standards of professionalism and accountability and models positive behaviors for our students.
• Mentors new faculty members and participates in mentoring programs.
