Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) required; training certifications (CTT+) are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Pharmacy, or related field is advantageous.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmacy work, with a focus on education or training.
• Strong instructional skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in curriculum development and training delivery in a healthcare or pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct training sessions for pharmacy technicians and Production Associates focusing on medication dispensing, customer service, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Create, review, and update training materials and manuals to keep pace with industry changes and best practices.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using assessments and feedback mechanisms, and modify programs as needed to enhance learning outcomes.
• Mentor and support pharmacy technicians through their certification process and continuing education.
• Collaborate with pharmacy management to identify training needs and align training initiatives with business goals.
• Maintain records of training activities and monitor the progress of trainees.
