Summary:

• The Pharmacy Technician Trainee is a temporary role for pharmacy technicians hired without certification. They must become certified within 6 months to continue employment and transition into a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

• Stock and restock medications
• Triage phone calls appropriately
• Fill medication prescriptions
• Deliver medications to assigned areas
• Regularly rotate medication stock and check for expired medications
• Run cash register and dispense prescriptions to patients

Credentials:

• Pharmacy Technician Not Specified (Required)
• Certification required within 6 months of hire

Education or Equivalent Experience:

• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
• Minimum of 6 months Pharmacy Experience
