Job summary

Raley’s in Incline Village, NV seeks an entry‑level Pharmacy Technician trainee. You will learn the pharmacy technician role under the pharmacist’s supervision and you will be paid while you train.

After 1500 hours of training, you can apply for a Nevada Pharmacy Technician license; Raley’s will cover the cost of the registration with the Nevada Board of Pharmacy and supports tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; trainee learns pharmacy technician skills
• Willing to register with Nevada Board of Pharmacy after selection
• Paid training during 1500 hours

Responsibilities

• Waits on customers, answers phone and operates cash register in the Pharmacy
• Operates the computer, inputs data, looks up refills, and retail prices of prescription drugs
• Calls doctors' office for authorization to refill prescriptions (California only)
• Receives orders from patient
• Types pharmacy labels (California only)
• Checks in merchandise and stocks shelves
• Conducts general housekeeping duties when needed
• Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacist with filling prescriptions and pull prescription merchandise from shelves.
