Responsibilities

• Waits on customers, answers phones, and operates the pharmacy cash register.
• Operates the computer, inputs data, looks up refills and retail prices of prescription drugs.
• Calls doctors' offices for authorization to refill prescriptions (California only).
• Receives orders from patients; types pharmacy labels (California only).
• Checks in merchandise and stocks shelves.
• Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacist with filling prescriptions and pulling prescription merchandise.
• Conducts general housekeeping duties when needed.
