Job Description

• Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
• Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification or Licensing Preferred: Pharmacy Certification
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 25 pounds
• Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge patients with compassion at all pharmacy entry points.
• Provide excellent patient care by engaging with patients, processing orders, and referring questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to meet company and government standards.
• Assist team members to ensure departmental efficiency.
• Use pharmacy systems to perform tasks such as searching profiles, managing prescriptions, and inventory management.
• Contribute to improving outcomes through knowledge of service and business metrics.
• Participate in company initiatives and complete required training and exams.
• Follow all relevant policies, laws, and regulations, including HIPAA and pseudoephedrine sales.
• Process sales accurately using the cash register and point of sale policies.
• Accurately transcribe prescription data for labeling.
• Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and rotating stock.
• Handle telephone inquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Resolve customer questions and concerns effectively.
• File prescriptions daily.
