As a Pharmacy Technician Trainee, you’ll be a key part of our collaborative team. You’ll help us exceed expectations, meet needs, and provide safe, accurate, and efficient care to achieve the best outcomes for patients, team members, and the company.

Job Responsibilities

• Welcome patients with compassion and a smile at all pharmacy entry points.
• Model excellent patient care by respecting, engaging, and meeting or exceeding patient needs, including processing orders, directing patients, and referring questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain a neat and clean work environment to meet company and government requirements.
• Assist team members to ensure efficient department operations.
• Use pharmacy software to complete necessary actions, such as searching for patient profiles, processing prescriptions, and checking inventory.
• Contribute to improving outcomes using service and business metrics.
• Assist in executing company initiatives and programs.
• Complete required training and exams.
• Follow all applicable policies, laws, and regulations, including HIPAA and pseudoephedrine sales.
• Finalize sales following established procedures.
• Accurately transcribe prescription data to generate customer labels.
• Maintain proper inventory levels by ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies.
• Answer telephone inquiries politely and accurately.
• Resolve customer questions and concerns effectively.
• File prescriptions daily.
