Job Description

• Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
• Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred Certification: Pharmacy Certification
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 25 pounds
• Age Requirement: At least 18 years old

Job Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and acknowledge them with compassion at all pharmacy entry points.
• Model excellent patient care by respecting, engaging, and exceeding patient needs, including processing orders, directing patients to products, and referring questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to meet company and government standards.
• Assist team members to ensure efficient department operations.
• Use pharmacy systems to maximize efficiency and provide optimal patient care, including searching profiles, managing prescriptions, and handling transactions.
• Contribute to improving outcomes by supporting initiatives using service and business metrics.
• Complete all required training and exams.
• Adhere to all policies, laws, and regulations, including HIPAA and pseudoephedrine sales laws.
• Process sales accurately at the register following established procedures.
• Transcribe prescription data accurately for labeling.
• Maintain inventory levels by ordering, receiving, and rotating stock appropriately.
• Answer calls politely and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Address customer questions and concerns effectively.
• File prescriptions daily.
