PharMerica in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a full-time Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to lead the COE team and oversee data entry workflows. The role emphasizes training, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with Medicaid regulations across dispensing systems.

You will supervise Data Entry Technicians, monitor performance, and report on claims status, with a shift differential and comprehensive benefits offered by PharMerica.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in pharmacy data entry and adjudication; LTC setting; prior leadership experience.
• Knowledge of Medicaid claims regulations and processes.
• Detail oriented; strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leads orientation, training, competency assessment, and evaluation of Pharmacy Data Entry Technicians with support from Lead Data Entry Technicians.
• Oversees data entry workflow and scheduling with support from Lead Data Entry Technicians.
• Provides structure, direction, and feedback to data entry staff in conjunction with pharmacy leadership.
• Understands all dispensing systems used in the pharmacy and their implications for data entry.
• Produces reports and keeps management informed of unpaid claims and claims pending follow-up.
• Processes prescriptions by triaging and inputting into computer systems.
• Maintains current knowledge of Medicaid claim regulations and processes.
• Ensures technician adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Ensures productivity and accuracy standards are adhered to.
• Performs other tasks as assigned

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 2:00am - 10:30am

Tuesday - Saturday 10:30pm - 7:00am

* +$2.50/hr Shift Differential

• Licenses/Certifications: As required by state regulations and business needs.
• Detail oriented; goal oriented, team player, customer service, written and oral communication; leadership.
