Job summary

UW Health in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Specialist to join our 10-hour overnight team. This 100% FTE role runs 8:30 PM–7:00 AM four days per week with a rotating schedule, and offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

The ideal candidate will handle preparation and distribution of medications, inventory control, audits, financial transactions, and customer service while maintaining accurate pharmacy records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program is preferred.
• Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration required upon hire.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.

Pharmacy Technician Specialist

The ideal candidate will be an experienced pharmacy technician with a diverse skill set. Our night shift technicians must be capable of performing any task that may arise within their scope.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program Preferred

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician, completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program, or completion of second year of pharmacy school. Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician Preferred
