Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking a Pharmacy Technician-Ambulatory to support the distribution and processing of prescriptions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. You will ensure accurate data entry, assist in selling over-the-counter medications, and manage billing and pharmacy inventory while interacting with patients and the public to ensure safe, efficient care.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and a Michigan Pharmacy Technician license; retail pharmacy

Qualifications

• Valid State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician license.
• Minimum of six (6) months of retail pharmacy experience.

Role Overview

As a Pharmacy Technician-Ambulatory, you will play a vital role in supporting the distribution and processing of prescriptions, ensuring accurate data entry, and providing excellent customer service. Working under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, you will assist in the sale of over-the-counter medications, manage billing and inventory, and interact with the public. Your work directly contributes to the efficient and safe delivery of pharmaceutical care to our patients.
