Job summary

CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck, ND seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support safe medication distribution and patient care. You will prepare, dispense, compound IV meds, manage inventory, and handle clerical tasks with aseptic technique and compliance to state/federal laws.

Responsibilities include operating pharmacy automation, processing orders, and ensuring accurate billing while maintaining security and documentation. A valid ND tech registration and relevant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Registered Pharmacy Tech in the state of ND.
• Active CPT-EXCPT or CPT-PTCB or CPHT certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Medication Preparation & Dispensing with accurate labeling and distribution.
• Inventory & Compliance management including inspections and expirations.
• Operate pharmacy automation and software to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Process patient medication orders and billing adjustments with knowledge of generics/trade names.
• Perform pharmaceutical calculations, including injections with narrow therapeutic index.
• Maintain security, documentation, and training per EHR and Joint Commission standards.
