Duties include unit dose dispensing, IV admixtures, compounding, and operating automated dispensing devices. You will also assist with billing, quality assurance, and adopting new pharmacy technologies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications under the direction of a pharmacist.
• Assist in compounding, preparing and dispensing prescriptions.
• Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs; manage inventory.
• Assist with billing related functions; support department QA.
• Use multiple computer programs and learn new pharmacy technologies.
• In medical center settings, assist with IV admixtures, unit dose dispensing and automated devices.
