Join the Retail Pharmacy team at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, a 591-bed hospital affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College, dedicated to providing the highest quality, most compassionate care to patients. In this role, under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, you will assist with preparing outpatient prescriptions, batching sterile and non-sterile preparations, managing inventory, maintaining patient profiles, processing prescription claims, and interacting with patients. You will also collect medication history and allergy information from patients and document it in the electronic medical record. Additional duties include maintaining quality assurance data and procedures related to sterile and non-sterile preparations. Exercise your skills as part of a dedicated pharmacy team.

This is a full-time evening shift position from 1:30pm to 9:30pm, including alternating weekends and holidays, located at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Preferred Criteria:

• One year of experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting.
• At least one year of retail pharmacy experience.

Required Criteria:

• High School Diploma or GED
• New York State Pharmacy Technician License
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certified via PTCB and in good standing, with required Continuing Education hours
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, talk, and hear
