Job summary

Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician (Retail) in Bandon, OR. You will work onsite to assist pharmacists with dispensing medications, manage inventory, and deliver excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate has a current Oregon Pharmacy Technician license, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication skills. Experience with 340B programs is a plus, and EPIC familiarity is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Pharmacy Technician license from the Oregon State Board of Pharmacy is required.
• 340B Program experience preferred.
• Previous experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a drive to provide exceptional service.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication and computer proficiency.

Salary Range: $25.07 To $35.57 Hourly

Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center has an opening for an onsite, dedicated, and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our Retail Pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists with dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service, all while adhering to the standards set by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy.

Skills, Knowledge, & Experience Requirements:

• Hi gh school diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician license from the Oregon State Board of Pharmacy required.
• 340B Program experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a drive to provide exceptional service.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication, and computer proficiency, specifically in Microsoft Office and online software, EPIC experience is a plus.

This is a Part-Time onsite position that is eligible for benefits. Employment with Southern Coos Hospital is contingent upon an acceptable pre-employment drug screening and background check.
