Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Associate to assist the pharmacist under supervision, process prescriptions, and deliver excellent customer service in a busy retail setting. The role involves operating pharmacy systems, supporting inventory and cash handling, and helping with clerical tasks as needed.

Candidates should be fluent in English, willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and have some retail experience; prior Walgreens experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and other Pharmacy Department duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Engage customers and patients to deliver a distinctive customer experience.
• Support inventory management and cash handling.
• Assist with clerical duties and pharmacist scheduling.
