College of New Caledonia invites applications for a Pharmacy Technician (Community Pharmacy) Program Instructor. The role involves delivering CCAPP-accredited instruction through online theory, lab classes, and practicum in community and hospital settings.

The ideal candidate has a CCAPP-credited certificate/diploma, BC licensure, and 3–4 years post-secondary teaching experience. Strong communication, collaboration, and knowledge of dispensing software are essential.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician certificate or diploma from a CCAPP accredited program and licensed in BC.
• Current practice in a community pharmacy with full scope including non-sterile compounding.
• 3–4 years teaching experience in a post-secondary environment.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to Pharmacy Technician students in online and lab environments.
• Evaluate students in online and lab environments.
• Develop and maintain curriculum.
• Collaborate with the Associate Dean and program colleagues.
• Contribute to the college, school and program.
• Maintain positive relationships with the Associate Dean and colleagues.
• Meet the major accountabilities documented in the instructor job description.
