Job Description

You'll work directly with a licensed clinical pharmacist to help maintain the institution's drug distribution system and ensure smooth operations.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Sterile & Non-Sterile Product Prep: Preparing sterile and non-sterile products with precision.
  • Repackaging Medications: Ensuring accuracy and compliance in medication repackaging.
  • Stock Replenishment: Keeping automated dispensing cabinets stocked and organized.
  • Inventory Control: Managing inventory, including controlled substances, with accurate records.
  • Third-Party Billing: Submitting third-party payor bills accurately and efficiently.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Pharmacy Experience: Preferred, with knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and products.
  • Certification: Must have passed the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination (PTCB) and maintain certification.
  • Computer Skills: Experience with data entry and strong typing skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills for discussing work issues.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Driving (if applicable): Must meet Fleet Driving Safety and Compliance Policy if driving is required.
