Qualifications

• The Pharmacy Technician provides functional and clerical support to pharmacists.
• Ensures medications are handled, packaged, prepared and charged according to policies and practices.
• Demonstrates competence with pharmaceutical terminology.
• Maintains accuracy in documentation and audits.

Responsibilities

• Fill orders by accurately preparing and packaging medications.
• Deliver medications and supplies to nursing units.
• Perform daily ADC routine and troubleshoot ADC issues.
• Process medication returns (unused, discontinued, discharged).
• Monitor inventory and notify manager to reorder products.
• Assist pharmacists in clinical reviews and reconciliations.
