Job summary

JobRx, Inc. in Iowa seeks a PRN Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists and staff in a busy setting. You will process prescriptions, assist patients, and uphold accuracy and privacy standards in daily operations.

Qualifications

High school diploma required or be 17+ with diploma within 1 year.
Must complete Certified Pharmacy Tech program within 1 year.
Must be registered Pharmacy Tech in good standing with Iowa Board.
2–3 years of experience preferred.
Current AHA Heart Code BLS required; cert within 3 months.
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
Strong empathetic listening, tact and kindness toward others.
Ability to communicate well verbally and work as a team.
Skilled with basic mathematics; apply fractions, percentages, ratios to practical situations.
Strong computer knowledge.
Willingness to complete further education or certification.
Must demonstrate leadership and effective communication skills.
