Job summary

Exalt Health LLC, an acute rehabilitation hospital, seeks a PRN Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists and maintain a compliant, orderly pharmacy area. You will handle medication orders, greet patients, replace stock, and assist with medication reconciliation while ensuring accuracy and patient privacy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• The Pharmacy Technician will provide courteous customer service and assist the pharmacist in maintaining the clean and orderly appearance of the pharmacy area, prioritizing work, and processing medication orders in compliance with Federal and State laws and Exalt Health's policies and procedures.
• Pharmacy Technicians fill medication boxes and replace stock items.
• They also assist pharmacists in filling prescription orders.
• They will greet patients and answer questions.
• They will help pharmacists perform medication reconciliation by collecting and organizing patient information.

Position Summary

Exalt Health, an acute rehabilitation hospital, provides an intensive rehabilitation program, and admitted patients must be able to tolerate three hours of intense rehabilitation services per day. Focused on caring for patients with complex rehabilitative needs such as stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, head trauma, medically debilitation conditions, neurological disorders, cardio-pulmonary amputations, orthopedic injuries, and multiple major traumas.
