Location: Mercy Ministry Office, Chesterfield, MO

Schedule: PRN - As Needed, must be able to work 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday (as needed)

Overview:

The Pharmacy Technician - Prior Authorization position plays a critical role in ensuring patients have timely access to necessary medications by completing and submitting prior authorizations for Mercy Primary Care clinics. The role involves working cooperatively with team members and recognizing the importance of group goals.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 1-year retail pharmacy experience preferred; EPIC experience preferred
• Licensure: Actively registered and in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willing to submit an application for registration by the first day of employment, including fingerprint submission for FBI background check
• Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board preferred but not required
