Job summary

Qualifications

• CA Pharmacy Tech License required.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Experience with Prior Authorizations (UM) in health plans.
• 1 year Med Purchasing/Pyxis experience in inpatient hospital or pharmacy setting.
• Health plan experience preferred.
• Must have physical ability to perform duties in a demanding work environment.

• Conduct chart or laboratory searches as necessary and transcribe relevant information into CS-Link.

Job description

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• CA Pharmacy Tech License
• Prior Authorizations and UM: Experience at a healthplan or with processing medication prior authorizations
• Med Purchasing/Pyxis: 1 year experience in inpatient hospital, and/or relevant experience in pharmacy setting
• Health plan experience is preferred.
• Lifting, Standing, walking, sitting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, balancing, kneeling, crouching, handling, grasping, hearing, talking. The physical ability and perceptive acuity to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect patient care functions. Must be able to perform assigned duties in a demanding work environment.
