Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is seeking a Pharmacy Support role to assist pharmacy personnel with prescriptions, paperwork, and ordering supplies. The position requires interaction with doctors and insurance to verify customer information and coverage, while maintaining a clean, accurate work area.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED, HIPAA certification, and state technician registration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HIPAA certification required.
• Must be registered with the State Board and meet state technician requirements for continuing education.
• Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy staff with preparing prescriptions and related paperwork.
• Order supplies and medications from wholesalers and distributors.
• Work with doctors and insurance companies to verify customer information and coverage.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary work environment and adhere to safety procedures.
• Greet customers and provide courteous service, locating and selecting products as needed.
