Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of internal training requirements within 12 months of enrollment.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB (PTCE) within 15 months of job entry.
• ASHP training within 18 months and state board registration where required.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and third-party insurance claims as needed.
• Assist pharmacist in prescription fulfillment and patient interactions.
• Enter prescription data into pharmacy software and manage patient records.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, labeling, and dispensing medications.
• Provide member assistance during prescription pickup and maintain HIPAA compliance.
