Job summary

Henry Ford Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support roles in the outpatient pharmacy setting in Michigan. Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, you will enter prescription data into a computer, assist with the distribution and processing of prescriptions, and handle sales of over‑the‑counter medications.

You will also perform billings, file maintenance, and help with inventory stocking while interacting with customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of six (6) months of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Requires valid State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in distribution and processing of prescriptions and sale of over-the-counter medications.
• Enter prescription data into computer.
• Perform billings and file maintenance.
• Receive payments for prescriptions and other purchases.
• Assist in stocking and storage of inventory.
