Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Current pharmacy technician registration/certification.
Pharmacy technician licensure in Montana required.
Strong math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units).
Effective computer and keyboarding skills.
Working knowledge of pharmacy information systems.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret physician's medication orders.
Enter data, handle insurance adjudication, troubleshoot Prior Authorizations and rejections.
Answer calls from patients and prescribers; provide customer service.
Aid in filling, processing, and dispensing medications.
Re-package and label medications; package prescription orders.
Operate postal manifesting system for outgoing packages.
Adhere to safety practices to ensure quality patient care.
Maintain drug inventory through inventory controls.
Respond to calls and emails promptly and courteously.
Triage requests and prioritize workloads.
