Job summary

Martin's Super Markets is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support licensed pharmacists by counting, labeling, stocking, and processing prescriptions in a fast-paced retail setting. You will assist customers, maintain patient profiles and insurance forms, and help ensure accuracy at checkout.

Responsibilities include inventory, ordering supplies, handling prescriptions and renewals, and upholding all policies including HIPAA.

Qualifications

One year of pharmacy-related customer service experience preferred.
Must have the state-appropriate registration or certification.
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
Basic mathematical skills.
Detail Oriented.

Responsibilities

Stock and inventory of medications (prescription and over the counter).
Notify Pharmacy Manager of supplies/products that need to be ordered.
Receive prescriptions/refills from patients.
Retrieve, count, pour, weigh, package and label products.
Maintain customer profiles and prepare insurance forms.
Operate cash register, display cost of purchase, give change, cash checks, issue receipts.
Have familiarity with all products carried in the department.
Maintain a clean, well-stocked department.
Abide by HIPAA and all policies and procedures.
Perform tasks delegated by pharmacist on duty other than final verification of prescriptions and counseling.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
