Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy in Ormond Beach, Florida is seeking a motivated Pharmacy Technician to enter and process prescriptions with speed and accuracy, support patient calls, and assist with daily operations in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

You will work with tech-enabled systems to ensure proper notes, dosage calculations, triage of faxes, and timely processing, while upholding high standards of care and integrity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required by state.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration required by state; National Certification (PTCB) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Ensure proper notes in computer and cycle fill coding.
• Calculate and verify correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Respond to customer calls with care and route to appropriate team members.
• Complete all prescriptions assigned for processing within regular shifts.
• Communicate with doctors' offices on refills and follow up as needed.
• Develop proficiency in all pharmacy systems and legacy software.
